IAC Becomes a Certified CSIA Member 12/15/2006 IAC passed a rigorous third-party audit in which we became one of only 90 certified members of CSIA, the Control Systems Integration Association, and the only certified member in Montana. Since its founding in 1994, CSIA “has maintained a laser-like focus on its primary mission – to improve the business skills of its member-companies and their executive management – in support of a belief that being a good system integrator goes hand in hand with operating a good business.” IAC was evaluated in the areas of General Management, Human Resources, Project Management, Quality Management, Technical Management, Business Development and Financial Management. In order to stay a certified member of CSIA, IAC will continue to go through third-party audits every three years. For more information on CSIA visit www.controlsys.org.
IAC Introduces the Ultimate RTU 12/15/2006 Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) is not a new concept in the controls world but our engineers have combined their experience and research to develop a system that expands on the existing standards. Using recent technological advances, IAC has broadened the concept of how SCADA is deployed using Remote Terminal Units (RTU’s). By using Commercial – Off – The – Shelf (COTS) products, IAC’s Ultimate RTU is low cost, scalable and flexible
IAC’s Ultimate RTU takes a typical SCADA system and replaces the limited proprietary RTU with one that has expanded functions such as: supporting multiple networks, supporting multiple communication protocols, interfacing to multiple third party devices and integrating security cameras and sensors into the SCADA systems. By using COTS products the Ultimate RTU provides PC functionality in an industrial, ruggedized configuration capable of living in extreme environments.
