Wonderware Training 05/18/2010 Aaron Wirth, with Industrial Automation Consulting (IAC), recently completed a Wonderware® Historian 9.0 and ActiveFactory™ 9.2 Software Course in Phoenix. A 4-day, instructor-led course provided Aaron with a fundamental understanding of the role of the Wonderware® Historian as a plant-wide historian and data provider. The course also focused on providing a fundamental understanding of how ActiveFactory™ Software can be used to report and analyze historian data. Aaron is a Controls Engineer at IAC and has certifications as a Wonderware Certified Application Developer and a Microsoft Certified Windows Server Security Expert. He graduated from Montana Tech in 2007 with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Physics. IAC is a CSIA Certified control system integrator specializing in automated process design and manufacturing control systems, along with integration of plant information systems.
Project Management Training 05/18/2010 Matt Wolfe, Controls Engineer, with Industrial Automation Consulting (IAC), recently attended and completed a training class on Project Management. The training emphasized organizational skills to help deal with multiple projects, deadlines and demands. Matt has been with IAC for three years and has worked with many clients in the mining, material handling and water and wastewater industries as the project lead. He graduated from Montana State University with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering.
Montana Rural Water Presentation 05/18/2010 Gary Johnson, General Manager of Industrial Automation Consulting, recently attended the Montana Rural Water Systems annual Conference in Great Falls. Gary gave a presentation entitled “Introduction to Cyber Security” to increase awareness of the latest technologies for implementing security in SCADA/HMI, Computer systems and networks for water and wastewater system operators. Gary has been with IAC for five years and has over twenty years experience in automation and control systems. He graduated from Montana State University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.

Aaron Wirth becomes a Microsoft Certified Professional 08/05/2009 Aaron Wirth, with Industrial Automation Consulting (IAC), recently became a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP). Aaron passed the exam for implementing and administering security in a Microsoft Windows 2003 Network in order to achieve the certification. This exam is intended for IT professionals who work in the typically complex computing environment of medium to large companies. Aaron is a Controls Engineer at IAC; he graduated from Montana Tech in 2007 with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Physics.
