Eric Stromsodt, of Industrial Automation Consulting, recently attended the Eastern Montana Energy Expo in Glendive, MT. Hosted by Dawson Community College this was the debut event, including a job fair for students at the college. Over 100 exhibitors were present as well as 13 speakers from energy industry companies. Dawson County is the gateway to the Bakken shale play, and many other plays. The Expo helped IAC connect with industry leaders and network with energy companies. Eric has been with IAC for 2 years as a Controls Engineer. He graduated from South Dakota State University with a B.S. in Electronics Engineering Technology and is currently pursuing his Masters of Business Administration from the University of South Dakota.
Eric also attended the Montana Mining Association’s annual meeting event at Fairmont Hot Springs, MT along with Chuck Wambeke, President of IAC. The conference is an opportunity for members of the mining community to network, share ideas and attend presentations on a variety of topics which impact the mining industry. Chuck has over twenty-five years’ experience in automation and control systems. He graduated from Montana State University with a B.S. in Construction Engineering Technology.
