March 1st marks the 18th anniversary for Industrial Automation Consulting, Inc. Hard to believe it’s been that long since Chuck Wambeke, President, first opened the doors.
It began in a storeroom at [what is now] the Imerys plant. Later IAC moved to a small rented building downtown in Three Forks, Montana. In 2003, Chuck purchased the historic Adams Building on Main Street (which had its own heydey as the Sacajawea Gentlemen’s Club).
IAC started with just four employees: a draftsperson, an aid to help with drafting, and two engineers. Currently IAC has six full time employees, and two students who work part-time.
